Booth Barn

Trust and safety

How we keep Booth Barn honest for shoppers, vendors and markets.

We never take your money

Booth Barn never handles payments. Shoppers pay vendors in person at the booth, and vendors pay booth fees directly to the market.

If anyone asks you to pay Booth Barn for a booth, a hold or a spot at a market, it isn't us. Don't send money, and tell us.

Vendors: fake fairs on Facebook are common. How to spot a fake vendor event.

What “Verified organizer” means

Anyone can ask to run a market's page, but a person at Booth Barn checks every request by hand first. We look for proof they really run it, like the market's own website or Facebook page naming them, or an email from the market's address.

Only after that check can someone change a market's dates, cancel a day or manage its vendor list. Those markets show Verified organizer. Markets without it still list real days vendors said they'll be there; the market just hasn't joined yet.

Holds are simple on purpose

A hold sets an item aside for you to see and pay for in person, so you never pay for something you haven't seen. At pickup, the vendor asks for the last 4 digits of your phone number so nobody else can claim your hold.

Your phone number stays private

When you hold something or ask a question, only that shop sees your name and number. We never sell it or share it for marketing. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

See something wrong?

A fake market, a shop that doesn't seem real, or someone asking for money? Tell us and a person will look at it.
